Social stories have shown measurable success when teaching children with ASD how to handle a variety of social situations. The Kansas Instruction Support Network has developed a fabulous bank of social stories for students with ASD. These stories are organized by target skill and age range. Many of the stories contain familiar characters such as Dora, Bob the Builder, and Thomas the Tank. A place is also provided to contribute your own social stories to the database.
